Staff

The Pre-school staff includes a supervisor and assistants, one of whom is the Special Education Needs Co-ordinator. Four out of the six staff hold relevant qualifications in day-care or education, or are in the process of completing a specified training course. Opportunities are provided for staff to continue training in order to keep their skills up to date.

There is a high ratio of adults to children in our pre-school, ensuring each child receives a high level of attention.

With our keyworker system:

Bucklebury Pre-school dot Each member of staff has particular responsibility for a small number of children.
Bucklebury Pre-school dot Each child has one special adult to relate to, so helping with settling in.
Bucklebury Pre-school dot The keyworker can easily tailor the curriculum to the unique needs of each individual child.
Bucklebury Pre-school dot Parent and carer contact is focussed on one member of staff, so allowing a better link to the home setting.
